List of things you might not know about me...

1. I hate pineapple, beets, walnuts, & sauerkraut.
2. I love the old classic disney movies like North Avenue Irregulars, Apple Dumpling Gang, etc.
3. I hate movies like Star Wars & Indiana Jones.
4. Chocolate & chinese food are my weaknesses.
5. Would someday like to learn to play the guitar(not electric) and piano.
6. Hate public speaking...especially talks in church.
7. Have two callings-enrichment committee and cub scouts.
8. Love to cook-always up to trying new recipes.
9. Believe I was Annie Oakley in a previous life.
10. Love old west stuff and wear alot of cowgirl stuff, which probably explains the whole Annie Oakley thing.
11. Would like to own a dance hall someday...family oriented with different theme nights like, senior citizens night, country western night, teeny bopper night, etc.
12. Probably the only female in my small group of friends that owns a firearm.
13. Want some brothers and sisters for Rady.
14. Excited to get her endowments out in January.
15. Hoping to fit into her wedding dress again by July so that her and Jared can go thru the temple...any motivational suggestions are welcome!
16. Always have my toes painted.
17. Favorite color is navy blue.
18. Love to play sudoku and put puzzles together.
19. Can't make homemade chocolate chip cookies to save my life...they always turn out like cow pies:(
20. Love to ride four wheelers, snow machines, & wave runners.

Pottyhead!

I was hoping for a story behind the picture but didn't have one...then low and behold a story presented itself...Ya know when you stop at a truck stop for a potty break and your son is too young to go potty by himself and you have to go too, but he is too young to wait outside...so you tell him to stay there and not open the stall door?! Well, it happened...I told Rady to wait a minute til mom was done, but he didn't and you could hear the other ladies in the restroom laughing at me telling him not to open the door...when we came out and we were washing our hands a couple of the ladies told me, "I remember those days!!" Kids-gotta luv em!! Someone should tell this kid which end the pants go on!!

Rady vs. Marker: Marker-1 Rady-0

Ya know when your kids are playing and after a while you discover all is quiet and you know their up to no good...When I discovered Rady, the walls, furniture and him were covered in black marker...As you can see by the picture Rady lost the fight with the marker!!!

Remodeling Rady's/Guest Bathroom

We decided to remodel one of our bathrooms...I didn't take a before/after picture...but anyways, the walls used to be blue and the tile on the floor is blue...whoever put the sink and cupboard in scratched the floor, and it didn't match the shower tile either...I painted the walls an off white while Rady was gone to his dads and this is Jared and Rady taking the old floor out...Rady loves to help Jared when he is using tools:)...I'm sure you're probably thinking oh, how boring, but if you've seen our bathroom before you'll know why we did it...and its nice to have Rady back home...:)

For the holiday weekend my sisters Tara and Tiffany came to visit...We had a sister bonding weekend...We sewed halloween costumes (pictures will come later), went shopping, and ate like piggies...Anyways these are some pictures of Rady and his cousin Chandler...the first one is them posing in front of the tent that Jared set up in our family room...Jared and the boys were going to camp out in the backyard but it rained so they camped out in the family room...Look at their little beer bellies, so cute? The second picture is them with cowboy hats and stick horses...We had a fun weekend

This is Rady on the trampoline...I set the sprinkler on underneath...I wonder if he got dizzy...hopefully that car has good shocks!!!

What we do when the kids are away??!!

On Wednesday night Jared wanted to go for a ride...and for those who don't remember, Jared sold his nice yamaha motorcycle to buy my wedding ring and our honeymoon...but the nice thing about it was that he sold it to his boss...he told us we could take it for a ride anytime...Poor Jared was talking to the motorcycle like he had found his long lost friend :)...anyways we went for a ride around the alpine loop and ended up in American Fork...we stopped at Del Taco for dinner...It was lots of fun and the weather had cooled off just enough to feel good...Jared's boss thinks I'm "the biker mama" now, haha...Then on Thursday afternoon for Pioneer Day we took the wave runners out onto Utah Lake and got soaked and sunbunt...On Saturday we took them out again, but this time we took Rady with us...Stupid mom puts sunscreen on Rady, but doesn't put any on her so now I look like a lobster...Rady had a blast...he was nervous at first, cause he thought the lake had monsters and sharks in it, but after a while, he was yelling "go faster, MOM!!" & "Hit it, MOM!!!"Sorry there are no pictures, I didn't want to bring my camera on the wave runners and get it all wet, and besides, if you saw my sexy albino legs, it would make a blind man laugh:)

Jared's Birthday

It was Jared's birthday a few days ago...I wanted to tease him by thinking everyone forgot his birthday, so I called his mom and a few friends the day before and asked them not to mention anything about his birthday til that night...That morning I got up and made his lunch for him and told him have a good day and that I was going back to bed(it was 5:30 AM), and he said, "Is there anything else you want to say to me", and nonchalantly I said no...come to find out the whole day he was fuming cause he thought I had forgotten...When he got home from work, some of our friends who I had called the day before and invited over for cake and games, showed up right after him...he thought they were just there to see the new house, ha ha...I had his favorite dinner cooked(pork chops) and all his presents on the table(I hid some that came in the mail the day before)...needless to say he wasn't mad anymore...I got him, hee hee!!!:) This picture is the cake I made him...it is supposed to be up in the hills with a dirt bike on it...

On the 4th of July we went over to Lehi and watched the fireworks... Rady was excited til we got there and insisted that he stay inside the truck and watch the fireworks even though they were two miles away and way up in the sky... then we went home and played with sparklers it took alot of coaxing to get Rady to hold a sparkler...now he wants to get them all the time...Jared is just a pyro, ha ha...
