Rhett "The Ham" Buhr Weighing in at a whopping 14 lbs. Record: 2 pins-no losses. He loves to eat, sleep, poop, talk, and chew on anything he can get in his mouth. He wrestles brothers, bears, etc. What's next? Alligators?
On March 20, 2010 The Buhr family was sealed in the Salt Lake temple...It started out kinda crazy and we were running late as usual...but it was an awesome day...and we appreciate all those who came to share in our big day...Although I was a little heartbroken that Rady couldn't come in with us, there was some comfort in knowing he would someday:)
I took Rady to FATCATS for his birthday...I feel bad about it, cause Jared was on the road and he didn't have any of his little friends there either...but we still had fun...Rady bowled a 51 all by himself (with a little help from the bumpers)...He's happy to be five and keeps asking how old Rhett will be when he's a certain age...He is such a funny guy and a good little helper with his brother...We love our little Rady man...:)
I love it when things like cute little bunny ears that only cost a dollar can make a cute kid even cuter!! Yes, I'm bragging cuz their my kids, but oh well...what mother wouldn't:)
Jared says there aren't enough pictures of him on here...He actually took this picture the other day...What a goof ball, but gotta love him...he's always full of humor:)
Rhett Anthony Buhr was born on Jan. 18th...He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. He looks just like his dad and acts like him too:) Rady loves being a big brother...:)
We put our outdoor Christmas lights up the weekend after Thanksgiving...which was good, cause now its freezing cold outside...We waited til the new carpet came before we got our tree up...I prefer to have a real tree, but we went with a fake one this year because of the new carpet...I didn't want sap and pine needles all over the new carpet...now we can enjoy all the goodies and do a little Christmas shopping...
I have always wanted to get a precious moments nativity scene and was finally able to get one this year...I hunted all over town for some straw and found some little miniature bails at Michaels and just broke it up...I'm hoping I can teach Rady and the other kids that there is more to Christmas than just making a haul with the presents.
When we moved into our house there was ugly white industrial carpet in our house and we finally got some new carpet...the white carpet showed every stain and wasn't comfy on the piggies...This new carpet is a brown shag and makes my house look like new...I told Jared he can't wear his greasy shoes on the carpet and no more eating on it for Rady...YEA!!!
I know, I know...I've been out of the loop for awhile, but what do you expect from a ditzy pregnant lady...Anyways, Rady has been excited for weeks about being Batman for Halloween...We didn't tell him that Jared was dressing up as Robin, but he was so excited...I know Jared's costume doesn't look like the original Robin, but there was no way he was going to wear the shorty shorts and the tights...:)
